Halloween was very nice we took our little ninja boy out trick or treating and only went down 4 streets and his bag was full! So he was really happy and completely tired when we were done. We go to my husband's mother's house every year and after we were done we stayed around and talked for a little bit and then headed home. It was nice. So that was our Friday evening.
Then Saturday we woke up and I started our laundry ugh I really dislike doing laundry and then of course my mother and sister came over about 10:45am and then at about 11:30am I had to go to pick up Jon from work because he had to go in for a few hours. And then we came home and hung out with my family and then we went to cracker barrel for lunch and then back to our house and I continued with our laundry and cleaning while they hung out. Then my sister decided she wanted Austin to spend the night over at their house so we packed up Austin's clothes and then they left. So I was able to clean out Austin's closet! It was such a mess it took Jon and I an hour to sort through all the stuff and get it organized and now that everything is done his room looks so nice! And then I was so tired after we were done that I just passed right out!
Sunday was a very nice day. We decided to go to Church down in Naples since we had to go pick up Austin anyways. So the service was a little different very sort. They told us that there were two pantries in need of food for the holidays and diapers for the kids. So they ended service early and we headed over to publix where our whole church bought a list of supplies for each pantry and loaded up vehicles full to the brim of all these supplies I think we had three trucks full when we left and there were still people coming in from our church to buy supplies! God is so good! And I pray for those pantries! I pray we were able to help and get them all stocked up! Then afterwards we went to my mom's house and picked up Austin and then went over to Jon's mom's house and dropped off her weed eater and trimmer that we have had for such a long time. And then home! I baked a lunch for all of us and we rested for a bit and watched a movie and then that was pretty much it. We went to bed and now it is Monday morning and I am here trapped at work!
Tomorrow I have another doctors appointment at 10am and then I am going to Austin's school afterwards and meeting with the teacher and Austin because Jon and I missed the student led conference night, Which is where the kids show you their progress and their report cards. So I am excited to go to see him while he is in school and check out what he has been up too! And I might take the rest of the day off I don't know yet. I mean I know I am going to work until 9:30am and then I don't think I will be done with everything until probably 1 or 2 pm so I haven't decided yet. I am thinking maybe not I don't know yet. And also we have dinner tomorrow night at Jon's dad and step mom's. His sister Leslie is in town until Wednesday we haven't seen her since she left for Jacksonville in August I believe so we are excited to see her! We have missed her. Then the next time we will see her is probably Dec 20th when we are going to Orlando to do Christmas with Julies side of the family. And then after that she is off to her dad's and then off to Africa for 3 months! So the next few months are quite busy for us! We have so much going on and then a baby coming! Exciting and crazy all at the same time!

happy halloween
It has been quite awhile since my last blog, I have been dragging my feet in every aspect lately! Well lets see a lot has gone on since I last wrote. Jon texts me 2 days ago and told me his co workers girlfriend was in the hospital and wasn't doing well. They told him she wasn't going to make it so Jon and I have been praying for her and well Jon called me today and told me she passed away last night. So I am praying for his co worker and his family and her family. Death is a very sad thing and well I know she is in a better place and resting still it is always hard for the people you leave behind.
Today is Halloween and the last day for 3 co workers, 2 of them are retiring and the other is going back to another location. So that is sad. I have worked with all of them for almost 4 years now and I am sad to see them go. Happy and jealous that they are retiring but still sad. So today at work we are having a farewell lunch and giving them gifts. That should start in about 1.5 hours. Which is good because Ethan and I are getting hungry again haha....
So Jon is working down in Naples today which sucks and is good at the same time! We are taking Austin trick or treating tonight and we were going down to Naples anyways so he could go see his Grammy she buys candy just for him... Grammy is Jon's mom that is what she decided she wants to be called I guess she didn't like Grandma Dean. Austin does only have 4 Grandma's now so my mom and his dad's mom is Grandma and Jon's mom is Grammy and Jon's step mom is Grandma Julie. Yes quite confusing but I consider Austin and I quite lucky to have as much family as we do, People who love and care about us!
hmmm what else has been going on since I last wrote??? Well last weekend Jon and I didn't do much we relaxed and enjoyed spending time together as a couple. Oh yes and Monday I was sick ugh! I really dislike being sick on Mondays because I have Austin those days. Usually it is fine because he is in school and then goes to the after school program but this past Monday there was no school and well lets just say I did my best to keep him happy and play with him and rest all at the same time!

Naples Visit and other random bits....
Well today I am really excited! I am heading down to see my mother and my friend Haley in Naples! I really love when I can get away from work for a little bit it really makes me feel a lot better! My mom's birthday is today so I figured I would take her a cake and card for her birthday! I usually don't ever see her on her birthday because I am working and so is she but I thought you know what I am going to work 5 hours today instead of 9 and go and see my mom... Let her know I love her and care about her! And I am really happy that I get to go see Haley and the kids today! I haven't seen Haley I think since she had that get together at her house. So that has been quite sometime! And we always talk about getting together but it always seems like our schedules conflict! But today there is no conflict thus far and I am really happy about that!
So I only have 2 hours left in my day now how exciting!
Well we went to our last small group meeting last night and it was awesome but sad at the same time! I mean we have grown accustom to seeing these people every week and now we wont! So Jon and I have been talking about joining another small group and Kelly our small group leader really recommended it she said with us having a baby on the way she would really like to see us get connected more and have people that would be able to bring over meals and help us out since I am going to be so tired and trying to get this whole mommy thing down again! And I totally agree with her! We are going to need all the help we can get from our friends and family! My mom will probably be over helping me on the days she is off which will be great! But the other days I don't know! Jon and I were discussing last night how disconnected we are from our church and how much we really don't like it! We have been talking about going to ignite that is a group of college aged people that meets on Tuesday nights which would be a great way to get connected with people and couples our age. So that is where we might be next week on Tuesday!
We have so much going on this week! I am excited about that! We haven't really had much going on lately and then all of the sudden we have a surprise party that we are going to down in Naples tomorrow and Sunday and Saturday we will be doing our shopping and paying bills and hopefully getting the net hooked up at our house! We haven't hooked it up yet because we have been trying not to have bills for things that we don't really need but we have come to find out that the net is something that we need. I really hate trying to do all my banking here at work I would much rather do it on our computer at home and be able to save important documents and well we haven't been able to load up any pictures in the last hmmmm 5 months so yeah we are in need of the net!
Well I have to get back to work now only a little time left! I hope it goes by quickly!

Randomness....
So I just finished reading Monster By Frank Peretti, and may I say this novel was great! I barely ever wanted to put it down! It kept me on the edge of my seat at times, I grew to love Rachel and her estranged family! I love books like that ones that you could just sit there all day reading and lose track of time pulling yourself into this fantasy world that someone else has created for you to marvel at! So I have been thinking what should I read next? There are the red, white, and black novels which I believe are by Ted Decker? But then I was also thinking hmmm maybe the Oath, By Frank Peretti. Jon really wants me to read that one and I really have no objections to whatever book he wants me to read because they are turned out to be books I love! Like he pushed me to read the left behind series that was awesome and then Soon, By Jerry Jenkins, that was awesome and Monster! I mean every book he has ever pushed me towards reading has been a winner! So do I want to read a mystery next or a thriller or something sweet? I don't know really the possibilities are endless. I mean so much potential out there. I know I am speaking like a true book nerd and well that is because I am! I am not one that is too good with my words or all too sharp at times but I am one who loves to read.... In that world I don't feel dumb or less of myself, it is just me and my book!
I need to change my address on my license so I can go and get a library card! We have a library about 2 miles from our house and we pass by it all the time and I really want to go in and get a card but since my license doesn't have a local address I can't! So one of these days I will get that strengthened out. I think probably because I can't just order my license online I actually have to go to the dmv and I never have the time! I work 9 hour days so slipping away from work is hard and on top of that the nearest dmv is not that close to my place of business at all and from here would take at least 35 minutes to get there and then I would have to wait in line and then get back all in an hour if I decided I could actually take a lunch break... So yes there is my little sob story!
Hmmm something smells good and it isn't my orange... Sorry I know that was completely random but I am here at work sitting at my desk and all of the sudden I smell fresh baked bread! That is strange I mean very strange but oh well I will continue to eat my meager orange.

A little bit of everything!
Hi all it has been awhile since I have made a post! I have been super busy. But anyways lets see what is new...
Well I took the day off monday and stayed home and did the house wife thing it was very nice! I made cookies from scratch and a pot roast! Everything was very yummy! I got caught up on alot of house work that I was lacking on! And I had time for me! Which is very rare nowadays! We went shopping over the weekend for Austins halloween costume and he decided he wanted to be iron man but they didn't have the costume in his size, so then he decided he wanted to be the transformer bumblebee and well they didn't have that one in his size either. So at this point Austin was getting rather disapointed and we went back over to the costumes determined to find something and then he saw a red ninja costume and we asked it they had that in his size and guess what they did! So we got it and he tried it on! And he is by far the cutest little red ninja you will ever see! So then we had to go buy the plastic sword and ninja accesories! And now he is very happy and can't wait for halloween! Jon has decided to join Austin on the ninja quest and dress up as one also so I will have two ninja's running around on halloween! Jon and I joined a small group about 6 weeks ago, it is a eight week group that concentrates on marriage and it is comming to an end! We have learned so much from the course and are sad that we only have 2 weeks left! Everyone is so great and fun and I think all in all it is just great to be around fellow Christians and discuss all sorts of things! They understand where you have been and where you are going! I want to encourage any married couple who hasn't taken the Imarriage course by Andy Stanley to take it immediantly! It is really great! Jon and I have been buy stuff for Ethan trying to get ready for his debute in Jaunary. We have bought his crib and we have diapers and wet wipes and bottles and clothes were working on 6-9, and 9-12 mos right now! We are getting really excited about our new addition! Austin is super excited also! I think this will be really good for him! I feel badly that they will be so far appart in age! But I can't really do much about that now!
Jon has started working agian! Which is soooo great! I am happy for him! He was feeling so badly for such a long time about not having a job! This is doing so much for him! And he has a new attitude towards work and I admire him soo very much! So now we both work now mon-fri 7-4. Which is nice to have another income coming in again!
I have been thinking alot lately and praying about maybe after Ethan is born switching to a job that allows me to work only part time so I can still help out with some of the bills but so I can also be home for Ethan! But I don't know where that will lead! I am praying and trusting that God knows my heart and my desires and that if it is his will then it will be done!
I have been enjoing cooking stuff from scratch more lately! Before I never felt like I had the energy and now it's like I can't stop! Making good food for my husband and Austin is one of the best feelings ever! And seeign their faces once they smell and taste it well that is enough said! I wish I could do stuff like that everyday!
I have another doctors appointment on monday, I will be getting back the results of my blood work I had done last month. So I am looking forward to that. And praying that everything is well with Ethan!

Jon and I have been looking for a room divider for about 2 or 3 months and we finally found one that was priced decently! We were so happy! And the store was a great find, They had so much wonderful stuff priced so cheaply! So this weekend Jon and I will be setting up the room divider and rearranging our room trying to get everything together and cleaned up in the next few months!
